Quantum Materials Exploration | Ye Research Group Homepage
Welcome!
You may have noticed the theme of this website: blueprints of quantum materials. Starting from September 2023, we are a new group of condensed matter physicists at Caltech, and we are excited about exploring new landscapes of emergent electronic phases by materials design--our experimental toolkits include single crystal synthesis, precision transport and thermodynamic measurements, strain and magnetic fields, and occasionally we make use of X-ray/neutron scattering at external facilities.
We are looking for aspiring undergraduate and graduate students, along with postdoctoral scholars with physics, materials science, and solid-state chemistry backgrounds to join our expedition. To learn more about us, don't hesistate to get in touch.
